Collection, processing, and use of personal data
Personal data is not required in order to visit the GDS website.
The only personal data that will be collected is the data that you voluntarily provide during the GDS registration process. This data will only be used in the context of GDS unless you give us consent to use it for other purposes. Updates about the survey, including information about the current state of the survey, access to the questionnaire, and release of the survey results, will be sent by email.
You can deactivate your account by email at any time. Any saved personal data will be deleted once you have deactivated your account, unless you have given express permission for your data to be used in the survey analysis or the further use of your personal data is permitted by law.
You have the choice to disable cookies in your browser. More information about the cookie settings can be found by using your browser's help tool. It is important to note that disabling cookies may limit the pages you can view in the website or may prevent you from accessing the website entirely.

According to the national privacy law, you have both the right to be updated about your saved data as well as the right to correct, block, or delete your data.
Use of Facebook plugins
If you would not like Facebook to create a message about your visit to our page, log out of your Facebook user account.
Privacy statement for Twitter use
Twitter functions from Twitter Inc., 795 Folsom St., Suite 600, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA are integrated into our site. The "Re-Tweet" function will link the pages you have visited with your Twitter account, making your internet history available to other twitter users. In this process, process personal data will be sent to Twitter.
Use of Google analytics
On rare occasions the full IP address will be sent and then shortened once it reaches Google's servers in the USA. Under Google analytic's service agreement with the website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to produce reports concerning the website activities for the website operator and to produce additional services associated with the use of the internet and website. Your IP-address will not be included in the data saved by Google analytics.
You can change your browser settings to disable cookies; however, disabling cookies will limit the content you can view on the website and affect website functions. Alternatively, you can download a plugin that prevents Google from using cookies to collect data about how you use the website.
